Sarah Javaid

Research Fellow

Sarah is a research fellow working with a focus on reproductive rights and health. Sarah graduated with her Masters of Public Health focusing her research on pregnancy and birth health outcomes during the COVID-19 pandemic, including mental health. She also worked for the University of Michigan conducting research exploring racial disparities in stress and cardiovascular health. Prior to that, Sarah worked as a psychiatric technician in an inpatient unit with adolescents and young adults after graduating with a BS in neuroscience. Sarah is actively a part of the Lunar Doula Collective, a non-profit organization based in Michigan that works towards providing doulas to those who experience pregnancy loss.
