NWLC Responds to Racist, Misogynist Murder of Asian Women in Atlanta

The following is a statement by Fatima Goss Graves, president and CEO of the National Women’s Law Center (NWLC):

“We are collectively grieving for the families of the victims in this vicious shooting in Atlanta, and the broader Asian community who continue to be the targets of racist, misogynist violence. It is disturbing and unacceptable how often we confront mass shootings in this country, and the white supremacy and misogyny that fueled this attack is even worse. We must continue to reject the dangerous rhetoric that ignites this violence and call for justice, accountability, and healing for the families affected by this tragedy and the community beyond.”
