NWLC, the National Partnership for Women and Families, and the undersigned organizations that advocate for gender justice and equity wrote this comment to express strong support for the Social Security Administration’s proposed rule to “Expand the Definition of a Public Assistance Household.” This proposed rule will have a positive impact on women and gender-expansive people, particularly disabled women and disabled women of color.
