Today, the National Women’s Law Center published an open letter to Virginia’s elected leaders. Allegations against Lieutenant Governor Justin Fairfax continue to be swept under the rug, with empty promises to “look into it.” But hearing and respecting survivors’ voices requires taking their allegations seriously.
That is why the NWLC is calling for full, fair, transparent, independent, nonpoliticized investigation into the allegations, which is what all the parties and all Virginians deserve. The nation is watching and waiting for Virginia’s leaders to pursue justice in this matter.
