The National Women’s Law Center fights for gender justice—in the courts, in public policy, and in our society.
Connecting workers, students, and patients facing sex discrimination with legal help. The Legal Network for Gender Equity is the only nationwide resource for those seeking legal help for matters relating to sex harassment and other sex discrimination at work, at school, and when accessing health care.
Launched in October 2017, the Legal Network for Gender Equity connects individuals experiencing sex harassment and other sex discrimination at work, at school, or when seeking health care with attorneys willing to consult about these types of cases. We do this in partnership with the attorneys in our Legal Network—a nationwide network of attorneys committed to helping people fight for their rights to be free from sex harassment and discrimination.
The attorneys who participate in the Legal Network agree to provide free initial legal consultations to individuals connected to them through the Legal Network. In some instances, Legal Network attorneys may later agree to take on sex harassment or other sex discrimination cases for free or for a reduced fee.
