The National Women’s Law Center fights for gender justice—in the courts, in public policy, and in our society.
The National Women’s Law Center offers help including:
- Connecting people with lawyers. If you are facing sex harassment or other sex discrimination at work, school, or when seeking health care, we can connect you with legal help through our Legal Network for Gender Equity.
- Representing people in lawsuits. In a limited number of cases, we represent clients in cases to protect and expand the rights of women.
- Funding legal matters. We help cover attorney’s fees and expenses in select legal matters involving abortion and workplace harassment and retaliation through our legal defense funds: the Abortion Access Legal Defense fund, and the TIME’S UP Legal Defense Fund.
- Assisting people with media and storytelling. We connect people to media professionals, and help cover the cots of media and storytelling assistance, in select matters involving workplace sex harassment and retaliation.
- Self-advocacy tools. Through our CoverHer program, we connect people to resources and information that help them access preventive services that should be covered by their insurance, like birth control, well-woman visits, breastfeeding supplies, and lactation consultants.
