For our democracy to work for all of us, not just the rich and powerful few, we must work to counter the rise of authoritarianism and protect the right to vote. Gender justice depends on it.
Key pillars of our democracy are under attack, and women and LGBTQIA+ people are feeling the brunt. We must build and safeguard a pluralist, inclusive society where everyone has a say. Fighting back against authoritarianism and the racism and sexism it is built on means protecting independent agencies and institutions, the right to vote, the right to dissent, checks on executive power, and the rule of law.
