But that’s exactly the choice some are forced to make. Pregnant women deserve fair treatment on the job. Before the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act was passed in 2022 pregnant workers were pushed out of their jobs if they needed a minor change in workplace duties, losing income and benefits when they could least afford it. We’re working to enforce PWFA and protect it from attacks to limit its scope.
