The Legal Network for Gender Equity hosted a webinar, “Pregnant Workers’ Rights in 2026: Legal Updates, Litigation Trends, and Emerging Issues,” on March 20, 2026.
This webinar featured:
- key developments since our April 2023 webinar, including implementation and enforcement trends under the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act (PWFA) and related federal and state rules and regulations.
- emerging and significant case law affecting pregnancy accommodations, pregnancy discrimination claims, and workplace protections for accessing or participating in reproductive health care.
- litigation strategies and the need for developing “good law” that can strengthen advocacy for pregnant workers.
- opportunities to connect with the National Women’s Law Center (NWLC) to deepen work in this area.
