Sexual harassment is a form of sex discrimination. As a result, when it occurs on the job it violates the laws against sex discrimination in the workplace, including Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Title VII prohibits all employers with 15 or more employees from discriminating on the basis of sex.  This fact sheet provides information describing sexual harassment and how to challenge it in the form of questions and answers.
