MiQuel is a 2017 graduate of William & Mary Law School, where she was on the William & Mary Law Review and the Co-President of If/When/How. She also served as a Research Assistant for Professor Allison Orr Larsen exploring the role of amicus briefs in seminal Supreme Court cases. MiQuel has held internships at the National Women’s Law Center, the National Abortion Federation, and NARAL Pro-Choice Virginia. MiQuel researched health and social policy in the office of Congressman Jim Matheson, and has worked in both Costa Rica and Ghana on projects related to health and development. MiQuel received her Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Utah.
