In her role as Director of Strategic Communications, Hilary oversees the National Women’s Law Center’s brand, content, editorial, and digital work. Before joining the Center, Hilary was the senior communications strategist at Jobs With Justice, where she led the nonprofit’s digital efforts and built public support for policies that benefit working people. Hilary is also an experienced social media trainer, leading sessions at Netroots Nation and other conferences on optimizing social content and pulling off strategic campaigns with limited resources. She has previously held communications positions at the National Association of Realtors, the American Advertising Federation, National Geographic Society, and the Graduate School, USDA. Hilary graduated from St. Mary’s College of Maryland with a bachelor of arts in Philosophy and a minor in Women’s Studies. She spends her free time baking, putting books on hold from the library, or behind a camera taking pictures, especially of her two objectively adorable kids.
