NWLC Testimony in Support of Legislation to Raise New Jersey’s Minimum Wage

The National Women’s Law Center submitted testimony to the Senate and Assembly Labor Committees in New Jersey to support legislation to raise the state minimum wage to $15 per hour by 2021—and to urge Members to take the additional step of gradually raising the minimum cash wage for tipped workers until it matches the regular minimum wage, so that all workers are entitled to the same fair minimum wage, regardless of tips.

It's time for change, and we must act now. Time's up.
