National Women’s Law Center, joined by 114 organizations that work with survivors of sexual violence and advocate for their rights, wrote the Department of Justice, Department of Health and Human Services, Department of Education, and Department of Labor, about our concerns that this administration is proposing to erase transgender, non-binary, and intersex people from civil rights protections that have been repeatedly affirmed by federal courts. Our groups will never support any law or policy that could put anyone at greater risk for harassment or discrimination and we stand strongly any attempts to do so.
