To help support attorneys in this much-needed work, the Legal Network for Gender Equity and the TIME’S UP Legal Defense Fund proudly present our latest webinar: “Advocating for Workers Affected by COVID-19: Rights and Remedies under the Family First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) and Related Laws.“
This presentation introduces the basics of FFCRA claims, such as the elements, defenses, burden of proof, and damages for such claims; and includes a discussion of the types of legal issues being presented by workers affected by COVID-19 and other state and federal laws that may provide rights and remedies for these workers.
