1. Working together will create change. Neena Chaudry, director of education at the National Women’s Law Center, said she believes defending Title IX is crucial for the future of young women and that it can’t be defended alone. The NWLC has been part of Title IX’s progression since 1972 and is a resource often used to address issues at schools that aren’t in compliance with Title IX regulations. Chaudry said in order to make sure Title IX is not jeopardized, organizations will have to continue to work together. “We’re better and stronger together,” she said.
