Why Now Is the Time for Businesses to Improve Child Care
Between August and October of 2023 — around when federal funding expired — 17.7 percent of parents with children younger than 12 reported not having child care in the past four weeks. Between January and April of this year, that grew to 22.2 percent, according to a new report from the National Women’s Law Center, first reported by Axios.
