NWLC Responds To Judge Ruling In Favor of Harvard In Affirmative Action Case
The following is a statement by Fatima Goss Graves, President & CEO of the National Women’s Law Center (NWLC):
“Affirmative action in higher education is key to dismantling decades of institutional racism and sexism. We applaud this decision that follows Supreme Court precedent and recognizes that racial diversity on campus enriches the learning experience for all students. This decision is critically important at a time when the Trump Administration has rescinded guidance promoting educational diversity. Students of all racial backgrounds deserve the opportunity to succeed.”
