TIME’S UP Legal Defense Fund helps survivors tell their stories, coordinated by SKDKnickerbocker (SKDK) a public relations firm.  SKDK connects selected people with public relations firms that can take on their case for free.

To speak with SKDK about media help through the TIME’S UP Legal Defense Fund, you must first have an attorney. The public relations process is separate from the process connecting you to legal help. If you have questions about the process, please reach out to for help.

A public relations consultant can provide a plan for reaching your media goals.  Media help could include:

  • pitching your story to journalists,
  • drafting background documents on your case to share with the press, or
  • working to keep your name out of the media.

  1. If you have an attorney and are interested in being evaluated for free public relations help, please email and include:
    • your attorney’s name and contact information
    • any pressing deadlines
  2. If you do not have an attorney, please email to start the process for legal assistance.
  3. After you have emailed us, SKDK will schedule a public relations assessment call with you and your attorney. This call is free, but, you will be responsible for any fees your attorney charges for their time.
