The TIME’S UP Legal Defense Fund, which is housed at and administered by the National Women’s Law Center Fund LLC, a subsidiary of NWLC, connects those who experience sexual harassment (including sexual assault) or related retaliation in the workplace or in trying to advance their careers with legal assistance. For a group of select cases, the Fund will also help defray legal fees and costs based on specific criteria and availability of funds.

If you are an individual who has experienced sexual harassment associated with work or related retaliation, please do not complete this application; only applications from an attorney will be considered for funding. If you are an attorney seeking financial support for costs or fees in a workplace sexual harassment or related retaliation case, please read in full and complete the application below and return it to TimesUpFundingApp@nwlc.org. The application sets out eligibility requirement and priority criteria for funding. Applications may be submitted beginning March 12, 2018, and will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Not all applications for funding will be granted.
The determination as to which cases will receive TIME’S UP Fund financial support and the amount of support each matter will receive will be made by the National Women’s Law Center Fund LLC as the entity responsible for administration of the TIME’S UP Fund. These determinations will be made free from the influence of donors.
Please note that this is the first funding round for a first-of-its-scale initiative; a high volume of initial applications for funding could delay response times. If you believe there is a time-sensitive legal deadline, such as an agency or court filing deadline, in connection with your matter, please indicate that on your application.
