NWLC Submits Responses to Sen. Cassidy’s RFI Highlighting Gender Disparities in NIL Agreements
Today, NWLC provided responses to Senator Cassidy’s Request for Information, “Stabilizing College Sports and Preserving Opportunities for Athletes,” on fair and equitable compensation for use of student-athletes’ NIL. In our response, we discussed the importance of addressing years of gender based discrimination in college sports by enforcing Title IX to ensure women are not undervalued nor paid less than men in NIL deals.
