NWLC Submits Comment Opposing Proposed changes to the SAVE System to Verify U.S. Citizenship for Voter Registration.

The National Women’s Law Center (NWLC) submitted comments in response to the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) proposed modifications to the Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements (SAVE) system to verify U.S. citizenship for voter registration purposes. NWLC strongly opposes the proposed changes, which would result in eligible voters being purged from the voting rolls across the country and compromise the privacy of millions of Americans.
