On July 6, 2026, the National Women’s Law Center submitted a letter of opposition to the nomination of Todd Blanche to be Attorney General of the U.S. Department of Justice.
Mr. Blanche’s nomination threatens the independence of the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the laws, protections, and rights critical to women and girls. His record of mishandling of the Epstein file investigation, undermining abortion care access, and wielding the DOJ as President Trump’s enforcer raises serious concerns on his nomination.
