Despite Major Wins, Women Are Still Losing When It Comes to Equal Pay
“This isn’t just a problem for people who make a lot of money. Gender wage gaps happen in almost every workplace,” says Emily Martin, vice president for education and workplace justice at the National Women’s Law Center. “Even in lower wage female-dominated professions like retail and health care, women tend to make less. There is consistently a pattern of men being paid more.”
