NWLC Disappointed by Confirmation of John Bush to Sixth Circuit
Yesterday, the Senate confirmed John K. Bush to the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. Despite clear indications in his record of hostility to key women’s rights, and serious questions about his judicial temperament, 51 Senators voted to confirm Bush to a lifetime position on the federal bench, where his decisions can affect the lives of women and girls for years to come. We’re deeply disappointed, for the women and girls in his circuit, and beyond.
