Donor FAQs

• To make a donation online, please click here. 
• If you need to cancel or adjust a recurring online donation (including updating your credit card information), please use our self-service portal. 
• If you made a donation online, you will receive an automatic tax receipt by email from [email protected]. This will be sent to the email address you entered when you made your gift. Please check your promotions, junk, and spam folders if you do not see this email. 

• Please make checks payable to National Women’s Law Center and mail to National Women’s Law Center, PO Box 200871, Pittsburgh, PA 15251-0871. Please do not mail checks to our DC office.  
• If you would like to send a qualified charitable distribution (QCD) from your IRA, please ensure that your check will reach our PO Box before the end of the calendar year, and please ensure that your name and contact information are included so that we can send you a tax receipt for your gift. Please note for gifts sent close to the end of the year, if your check is sent to our DC office, we cannot guarantee it will be deposited within the calendar year if received after December 20. For timely processing, checks must be sent to PO Box 200871, Pittsburgh, PA 15251-0871. 
• If you would like to recommend a donation through a donor advised fund (DAF) and you wish to receive an acknowledgment, please ensure that your name and contact information are included with the grant letter. If your DAF is sending a check to NWLC, please ensure that it is sent to PO Box 200871, Pittsburgh, PA 15251-0871.

• If you donated using another method and we have your contact information, you will either receive an acknowledgment letter in the mail or by email from [email protected]. If you don’t find an email from us or haven’t received a letter by mail, please reach out again and we will be in touch. 
• Please note our office closures listed below, as there may be a delay in getting your acknowledgment letter to you if your donation is received around those times. We appreciate your patience!
