Op-Ed: A failed litmus test: Trump taints his Supreme Court pick with his promise to anti-abortion extremists
Again, that’s not what most Americans want from their Supreme Court. They have a real fear that a radical shift on the Court is not good for them personally or for the country as a whole. But rather than responding to those concerns, Trump and his supporters in Congress seem bent on appeasing the more extreme sensibilities of a relatively small minority of Americans. We can do better.
