Sydney Petersen is a senior media relations manager for the National Women’s Law Center focused on the Center’s child care and income security work. Before joining the Center, Sydney was press secretary for U.S. Senator Maggie Hassan’s official office, and also served as the Senator’s press secretary during her successful re-election campaign in 2022. Sydney graduated from Columbia University with a B.A. in Political Science and a concentration in Sustainable Development.
