Lucy Zhou

Senior Litigation Counsel, Reproductive Rights & Health

Lucy Zhou (she/her) is a Senior Litigation Counsel for Reproductive Rights and Health at the National Women’s Law Center. Before joining NWLC, Lucy was an attorney in the Workplace Justice Project of the Public Justice Center, where she represented workers in wage theft litigation and engaged in legislative and administrative advocacy to expand workers’ rights. Previously, she was an associate at a plaintiff-side firm where she represented workers in employment discrimination matters in state and federal court. Lucy also served as a law clerk to the Honorable Dale A. Drozd of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California.

Lucy graduated cum laude from NYU School of Law, where she was an Executive Editor for the Review of Law and Social Change, a student attorney with the Reproductive Justice Clinic and the Employment Law Clinic, and a recipient of the Arthur Garfield Hays Civil Liberties Fellowship and the Derrick Bell Scholarship for Public Service. Lucy received her undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, from Amherst College.
