K.M. Bell
Senior Litigation Counsel, RRH
K.M. Bell (they/them) is a Senior Litigation Counsel for Reproductive Rights and Health at the National Women’s Law Center. They focus on litigation to protect access contraception and the intersection of reproductive rights and the First Amendment. Before joining NWLC, K. M. was a Staff Attorney and lobbyist at the ACLU of Arizona, Legislative Counsel and General Counsel at the Marijuana Policy Project, and worked as a criminal defense attorney and civil litigator at boutique firms in Baltimore, Maryland. They also clerked for Judge Timothy E. Meredith and Judge Alexander Wright, Jr., both of the Appellate Court of Maryland.
Mx. Bell graduated magna cum laude from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Law and holds a B.A. from The College of William and Mary.
M. Bell was named a National LGBTQ+ Bar Association “Top 40 Under 40” in 2023. They enjoy tabletop role playing games, improv comedy, and scuba diving.
