Clarke Wheeler (she/her) is a Senior Policy Analyst on the Reproductive Rights and Health team at the National Women’s Law Center. In this role, she engages social justice movements and policymakers in the fight for abortion access on the state level. Previously, she was the Federal Policy Manager at Black Mamas Matter Alliance, where she collaborated with Black-led organizations and multidisciplinary professionals to craft and implement federal policy strategies that advance Black maternal health. She has worked on the government relations team at Planned Parenthood of New York City (now Greater New York), served as an Urban Fellow in the NYC Department of Consumer and Worker Protection Office of Financial Empowerment, and participated in several public service fellowships and programs. Clarke received her Master in Public Affairs (MPA) from Princeton University’s School of Public and International Affairs and her Bachelor of Arts in Africana Studies and Political Science from Barnard College.
