Aimee Krause Stewart, Deputy General Counsel, provides in-house legal advice and representation to NWLC, NWLC Action Fund, and NWLC Fund LLC. Prior to joining NWLC, Ms. Stewart served as Associate General Counsel for the Obama Foundation. Her legal experience also includes litigation practice at Sanford Heisler Sharp, LLP, where she advocated on behalf of workers in employment disputes, and at the New York Civil Liberties Union. She also clerked for the Honorable Margo Kitsy Brodie of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York. She is a graduate of Stanford Law School and Cornell University’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations.
