The Legal Network for Gender Equity and TIME’S UP Legal Defense Fund hosted a webinar, “Technology-Facilitated Abuse: Recent Developments in the Law and Guidance for Supporting Survivorson December 5, 2024.    

Building on our  November 2020 webinar, which was an introduction to the topic for attorneys representing people who experience technology-assisted harassment, this webinar addressed: 

  • Recent trends in how technology is being used to facilitate sex harassment and other gender-based violence 
  • Updates to legislation, policy, and federal case law that impact advocates’ ability to respond to and support survivors of technology-facilitated abuse 
  • Strategies and tips for how litigating attorneys can best advocate for clients who have experienced technology-facilitated abuse
