The Legal Network for Gender Equity and TIME’S UP Legal Defense Fund hosted a webinar, “Ending Forced Arbitration of Sexual Assault and Sexual Harassment Act: What Attorneys Should Know About this New Law to Support Survivors,” on December 7, 2023.    

This webinar:    

  • Provided background on the legislative history of the recently passed Ending Forced Arbitration of Sexual Assault and Sexual Harassment Act (EFASASHA) and outlined major takeaways attorneys should know about this new law 
  • Highlighted examples of recent litigation to exemplify how courts have interpreted EFASASHA 
  • Discussed options for survivors who are not currently covered under EFSASHA and how to help expand these protections.
