To Mark 100 Days, NWLC Launches New Project 2025 Resource, Vows to Keep Fighting Trump’s Anti-Woman Agenda
Washington, DC – To mark 100 days of Donald Trump’s second term, the National Women’s Law Center (NWLC) launched a new resource outlining how President Trump’s efforts to implement his extreme Project 2025 agenda is harming women, girls, and LGBTQI+ people.

The Law Center also released a statement reaffirming its unwavering commitment to resisting the Trump administration’s pro-billionaire, anti-woman, and anti-family agenda.
“In just 100 days, Donald Trump has launched an unrelenting assault on gender justice, as well as on our democracy, our freedoms, and the essential support systems holding this country together,” said Fatima Goss Graves, president and CEO of NWLC. “From robbing women and LGBTQI+ people of their right to be free from discrimination and harassment, to gutting access to health care and child care, and openly defying the rule of law – Trump has done more damage to our country in 100 days than any president in living memory.
“Instead of despairing, we at the Law Center are choosing hope. We’ve won key victories—blocking the nomination of David Weldon to lead the CDC and securing a temporary halt to parts of Trump’s efforts to eliminate grants for “equity-related” initiatives. We’ve also sounded the alarm and galvanized our base to counter some of the administration’s most harmful actions, including attacks on Head Start, efforts to weaponize the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission against diverse and inclusive workplaces, and attempts to dehumanize transgender women and girls.
“The past 100 days have made one thing clear: the road ahead will be tough. But we are more determined than ever to fight back against this authoritarian regime and defend the rights and dignity of all women and families.”
