NWLC Extends Gratitude to 2020 Female Presidential Candidates

(Washington, D.C.) The following is a statement from Fatima Goss Graves, President and CEO of the National Women’s Law Center:

“Future generations will remember this election cycle as a critical moment in the fight to recognize the strength and ingenuity of leaders who truly represent them. I’m grateful for the women and people of color who made this presidential election the most diverse in our country’s history. They are emblematic of what a more equitable nation could look like—one in which the value of every person is recognized regardless of their gender. The tenacity and strength of every woman tired of being silenced and erased will continue to push us forward and I remain certain that, in my lifetime, we will see the inauguration of our country’s first woman President.”
