Right now, harmful state legislation to keep trans girls out of sports is in front of the Supreme Court and their ruling could impact all women and girls.

In addition to banning trans kids from playing sports, anti-trans sports bans lead to invasive scrutiny, harassment, and discrimination of ALL women and girls, especially those who dare to defy sex stereotypes because of how they look or act.

TAKE ACTION: SIGN OUR PLEDGE

“Discrimination of any kind is just simply wrong. To punish people who don’t fit into a white, male dominated box is ridiculous.” – Kathleen G.

“I want to live in an egalitarian society where everyone can thrive regardless or gender, race or sexual orientation.” – Felisa G.

“Sex is not the hard line in athleticism people seem to think it is, especially among kids there is massive overlap in physical ability, the only reason more sports are not co-ed anyway is because of the fragile feelings of boys who lose, not girls’ supposed inability.” – Townsend W.

“EQUAL OPPORTUNITY APPLIES EVERYWHERE!!” – Cheryl F.

“Fear of difference should not define the human conscience. We are demonstrably all different, so each and every one of us inherently has the right to thrive.” – Steven K.

“In America, our hard fought rights are supposed to provide everyone with equal opportunities to work, to play, and to love! Without these freedoms, we are all endangered, and our country’s identity is shattered!” – Maureen M.

“I’m an educator and a coach and Trans athletes deserve the same opportunities as everyone and we need to protect trans kids. ” – Francis J.

“All kids, including trans kids, deserve the right to play sports and feel included. Trans kids face tons of challenges already; youth sports should just be fun—not another place where they face discrimination.” – Christine C.

“Because transgender women are women!” – Sam I.

“We all deserve to be who and what we want to be. Stop scapegoating people. Everyone is different – so what!” – Ruth Z.

FAQs

What is the One for All campaign?

  • Our campaign exists to push back against exclusion, fear, and scapegoating.
    • Right now, 29 states ban trans women and girls from playing sports, taking away their right to experience community, teamwork, and joy.
    • A hostile federal administration is escalating these assaults, using any tool available to exclude trans athletes and enforce a narrow, harmful definition of femininity.
  • We call on policymakers, athletic organizations, schools, athletes, coaches and supporters of women and girl sports to reject fear and division and to stand with all young people—including trans youth—who want to play, grow, and belong through sports.
  • We say “one for all” because we believe women’s and girls’ sports are better when everyone has a chance to participate.
  • We envision a future that keeps kids on teams, not on the sidelines; that protects dignity, not fear; and that strengthens women’s and girls’ sports rather than divides us.

Why do we support inclusion of transgender women and girls in sports?

  • Sports are built on teamwork, discipline, and mutual respectvalues that only grow stronger in inclusive environments.
  • Trans girls and women are girls and women. Their dignity and humanity should never be debated or legislated away.
  • No athlete should be singled out or used as a political scapegoat simply because of who they are.
  • Standing with trans athletes is standing for all women and girls in sports, for the right to play free from fear, body policing, or exclusion.

Why are the Supreme Court Cases so important?

  • Right now, 29 states ban trans women and girls from playing sports. Any day, the Supreme Court could issue their decision on extreme legislation that keeps trans girls out of sports—and their ruling could impact all women and girls, by:

⚠️ Unfairly excluding trans women and girls from playing the sports they love

⚠️ Subjecting women and girl athletes to invasive testing and humiliating “body checks” for women and girls who are taller, stronger, or faster than average, or don’t look “feminine enough”

⚠️ Pushing women and girls, especially trans girls, intersex girls, and girls who defy sex stereotypes out of sports, and consequently, withholding the many benefits that playing sports offers.

  • At the core of the Court cases is a simple question: can states exclude transgender girls and women from sports, and isn’t that discrimination under the Constitution and Title IX?
  • These cases involve real kids who just want to play with their teammates. Their dignity and opportunities are directly at stake. Our girls deserve better.
