The first-ever Daisy Chain Fields Music Festival included performances by Chappell Roan, Garbage, Mitski, Doechii, Bikini Kill, Eli, Santigold, Quiet Light, Rachel Chinouriri, Die Spitz, The Breeders and Not For Radio. Rodrigo’s modern effort turned out to deliver $20 million to the non-profit organizations she named as the inaugural year’s recipients, thanks in part to a surprise pledge of 10 million dollars from Melinda French Gates. The beneficiaries from this year’s partnership are:

National Women’s Law Center: The National Women’s Law Center defends and protects the rights and freedoms of women, girls, and the LGBTQ+ community through law, policy, and culture change – with a particular focus on addressing the inequities faced by women of color and low-income women and families.
