“Dismantling abortion rights and access was a prominent, damaging pillar of the Trump-Pence administration. And now, on the second day of the Biden-Harris administration and the 48th anniversary of the Roe v. Wade decision, we look forward to bold, immediate action that will undo the profound harm of the last four years and move us forward. The Biden-Harris administration must reverse the harmful policies of the Trump Administration, but the work doesn’t stop there. The new administration must expand access to reproductive health care and ensure our laws support people in making decisions about pregnancy and parenting that are best for them, no matter where they live or their income, race or gender identity. We look forward to working with the Biden-Harris administration to make sure everyone in this country can access the abortion care they need, without discrimination, barriers, or stigma.”
