Close to Home:  State Strategies to Strengthen and Support Family, Friend, and Neighbor Care offers an array of policy options that states are using that target child care provided by family, friends, and neighbors.  Given the significant number of low-income families who choose this type of care, these options offer an opportunity to strengthen the early learning experiences for our poorest children.
