Nicole Faut is a Legal Fellow with the TIME’S UP Legal Defense Fund and Legal Network for Gender Equity, working to support low-wage workers and marginalized communities through racial and gender justice.

Nicole obtained her J.D. from the City University of New York (CUNY) School of Law, where she represented clients in the Economic Justice Project and Workers’ Rights clinics. Her work included representing low-wage workers in unemployment insurance hearings, federal wage and hour cases, and before various city agencies in public benefits and discrimination cases. While in school, she worked with the New York Immigration Coalition and immigrant communities, helping to research and write a white paper on the accessibility of legal services to immigrant communities in New York State. She also worked with the Communications Workers of America as a Peggy Browning Fellow, assisting with union campaigns and arbitrations. Prior to law school, Nicole worked at the International Rescue Committee, after completing a Fulbright Research Fellowship to India. She has a B.A. in Religion and Culture from Virginia Tech.
