Mahzarine Chinoy

Former Vice President for Administration and Finance

Mahzarine Chinoy, VP for Administration and Finance, leads the Center’s administration and finance team which include the administration, finance, human resources, and information technology functions.  She is a CPA with more than 15 years of blended public and private experience providing strategic management, business advisory and operational services within the nonprofit industry.

Most recently she was the COO of the Minority Corporate Counsel Association (MCCA), a diversity and inclusion focused non-profit, where she had the responsibility to manage a broad set of functions that included board relations, finance, HR, member services, communications, IT and events.  Prior to joining MCCA, Mahzarine worked at the firm of Veris Consulting providing a full range of outsourced accounting services primarily to their non-profit client base.

Mahzarine graduated from Gujarat University, India where she received a Bachelor of Commerce in accounting.  After graduating, she relocated to Virginia and proceeded to get her CPA certification from the American Institute of Certified Professional Accountants.
