Althea May Sellars was the National Women’s Law Center’s Well-Woman Benefits Hotline Coordinator. She helped 1-866-PILL-4-US Hotline callers navigate their insurance coverage for preventative care. Althea May held her first position in sexual health at a clinic in Fitchburg, Massachusetts while still in high school, and carried her passion for reproductive justice throughout her career. Prior to this position, she served as the Counseling and Referral Supervisor at Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts. Althea May holds a Bachelor of Liberal Arts in Gender Studies and Psychology from the University of Massachusetts – Lowell. When she is not working on reproductive justice issues, you can find Althea May playing the trombone.
