In December 2015, the Administration for Children and Families released proposed federal regulations for implementing the Child Care and Development Block Grant Act of 2014.  The National Women’s Law Center and the Center for Law and Social Policy (CLASP) , together with numerous national and state organizations, submitted comments on the regulations, expressing support for certain provisions and offering recommendations for revising other provisions to help ensure that the legislation achieves its goals of improving the health, safety, and quality of child care and making child care assistance more accessible and stable for families.
