Where: Longview Gallery, 1234 9th Street NW, Washington DC
When: Wednesday, May 22 from 6:00-8:00 pm

In the months following the 2016 presidential election, community activist and civil rights attorney Arjun Singh Sethi traveled the country chronicling the stories of individuals impacted by hate in a series of powerful testimonials. In his book, American Hate: Survivors Speak Out, survivors tell their own stories of intensified bullying, discrimination, and even violence toward them and their communities.

Register below to join the National Women’s Law Center for a conversation on Arjun Sethi’s book and the effects of harassment, discrimination, and violence on not only those whose stories he collected, but also on our society at large, and how the legal community – and all of our communities – can be on the front lines of combating and resisting hate.

Tickets for this event are free, but space is limited, so RSVP below today! Each ticket includes one copy of American Hate, and additional copies will be available for a suggested donation of $30 (while supplies last).
