“Just a day after voters made clear that health care is a top priority, the Trump Administration issued several rules to take away women’s health coverage. Not only did the Administration finalize harmful rules to take away birth control coverage, it issued a proposed rule designed to eliminate insurance coverage of abortion. When a woman is denied coverage of abortion, she may be forced to choose between basic necessities and obtaining needed care. Everyone deserves comprehensive reproductive health coverage, and that includes abortion.”
