A group of about 120 student activists and representatives of several advocacy groups, including Know Your IX, National Women’s Law Center, End Rape on Campus, and UltraViolet, gathered outside of DeVos’ office in Washington, D.C., this morning, reading letters from survivors of campus sexual assault, and demanding that DeVos abide by the 2011 “Dear Colleague” letter, which called for stricter enforcement of Title IX protections against sexual violence on college and university campuses. Several attendees live-tweeted the event.
