Community Partnerships Intern Summer 2022
The National Women’s Law Center (NWLC) seeks a summer intern for our Child Care/Early Learning team focused on supporting the Community Partnerships team.
*Please note: Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, this internship opportunity will be fully remote for the summer.
The National Women’s Law Center fights for gender justice—in the courts, in public policy, and in our society—working across the issues that are central to the lives of women and girls.
We use the law in all its forms to change culture and drive solutions to the gender inequity that shapes our society and to break down the barriers that harm all of us—especially women of color, LGBTQ people, and low-income women and families.
For almost 50 years, we have been on the leading edge of every major legal and policy victory for women. Find out more at NWLC.org.
The National Women’s Law Center Action Fund is a 501(c)4 affiliate of NWLC, aiming to drive progressive change in our policies and laws so that all women and girls can live, learn, and work with safety, dignity, and equality.
Students with majors in community development, public administration social work or other comparable fields are encouraged to apply; however, all majors will be considered. Both undergraduate and graduate students are welcome to apply.
The Child Care intern’s responsibilities will include:
- Conducting quick-turn research,
- Writing weekly memos for coalition and state partners,
- Drafting blogs, fact sheets, coalition letters, or other materials,
- Attending and summarizing relevant meetings, reports, and calls;
- Other tasks as needed.
This is a paid internship opportunity. Interns will be paid $15/hour for a 10-week internship.
