CHILD CARE INTERNSHIPS

The National Women's Law Center is seeking interns for our Child Care Group who are available to work 35 hours or more per week.  The Child Care intern's responsibilities will include assisting in Center outreach activities, helping to organize child care conferences, in addition to helping to conduct research and assisting with newsletter articles.

Students with majors in english, education, political science, pre-law and women's studies are encouraged to apply; however, all majors will be considered.

Applications are due no later than April 30 for summer 2009 internships.  To apply, please send: (1) a current resume; (2) a cover letter indicating dates and times available for work; (3) a transcript or list of grades; (4) names of three references (preferably an employer or professor) with current addresses and telephone numbers and (5) a writing sample to humanresources@nwlc.org.
