Based on today’s wage gap, Native Hawaiian and other Pacific Islander (NHOPI) women entering the workforce now stand to lose $961,960 over the course of a 40-year career compared to white, non-Hispanic men. Native women’s career losses based on today’s wage gap would amount to more than $1 million in six states.
